Thank you for visiting my website!  I am Jim Burkhart, a NAUI Instructor/Instructor Trainer (#12172) located in Katy , Texas . 

My scuba instruction is catered to private lessons for individuals, couples, small groups or families who have decided to make a commitment to the sport of scuba diving

There is no set time or schedule that you are required to follow.  You are able to complete your training as quickly as you choose. Your pool or mine.

You will receive quality training with personalized attention resulting in you becoming a safe, confident and educated diver.

Since I instruct families, teaching children and young adults is a consideration.  Children as young as 10 can learn to scuba dive today. I actually prefer to wait until the child is 12 following the old standard. If you have a very bright, mature 10 year old I will consider him/her on a case by case basis following a personal interview.

Once training is completed you can schedule a trip with one of our small groups or I can issue you a referral letter to present to any NAUI Instructor in the world who will complete your certification dives.
